The current medical model is built to identify disease once it is measurable, nameable, and billable.

It is not built to map the gradual degradation of communication across systems.

And that is what health actually is.

Health is the precision of communication across networks.

The brain must accurately map the body. The immune system must correctly identify threat from non-threat. The mitochondria must efficiently convert energy and transmit signals. The endocrine system must maintain rhythmic timing. The microbiome must regulate inflammation and nutrient signaling.


When these systems communicate with clarity, the body is stable even under stress.

When communication begins to degrade, the system compensates.

And compensation is where chronic illness begins.

The transition from health to disease is not abrupt.

It follows a predictable arc:

My name is Dr Leila Doolittle.

When mitochondrial signaling is disrupted, the consequences extend far beyond fatigue.
